| 12/13/2007 05:31 | Vendor | Comment: Reply to customer - Hi Alexander, Thank you for explaining about the reasons you think we should issue you a refund. I agree that if you don’t want to use a membership, there is no reason to pay for it. It is just that you should have contacted us or Plimus about canceling your membership *before* being billed for the second month. Because of the free trial month we offer, we do not offer any refunds after a customer is billed. Still, because you took the time to contact us so it must have been very important to you and an honest mistake, I told our payment department to send you a partial refund. | 12/11/2007 21:59 | Customer | Comment: Reply to the software vendor - I was signed for a trial on November. So one month was free. Now it begins second month. I say I don’t intend to use this service and I didn’t enter the member site in December. So I’m not using this service during second month. So I don’t see a problem. If I’m not using this service second month so I don’t need to pay for it. Or you will charge me for nothing? It is not fair. And by the way, I didn’t be able to cancel before you charge me. Plimus sent me my login details after the charge only. So I insist you refund me my money back. Otherwise I’ll appeal with complaint to FTC. | |||||||
| 12/11/2007 19:30 | Vendor | Comment: Reply to customer - Hi Alexander, Sarah Morgan here from the List Profit Club support team… Thank you for your email and explaining about your situation. I understand you entered the free trial of the List Profit Club membership site, but on the sign up page, it said that you would be automatically charged for $137 every month after the free month. The signup page is still here for you to see how it has been clearly explained there… (URL here) Of course you could cancel at anytime, but in case that you didn’t cancel (which is your case), the automatic payment would be billed. From your account history here, I see that you have already canceled your membership which means you won’t be charged for anything from now on. As for the previous month’s charge, I think Plimus had previously sent you an email notice about the upcoming charge - in case you wanted to cancel. Thank you and let me know if there is any other way I can assist you. Sarah Morgan Customer Support Team at Higher Profit Marketing http://www.HigherProfitMarketing.com | |||||||
| 12/10/2007 08:05 | Customer | Product doesn’t match expectations: Product doesn’t match expectations - Here is letter I sent to Ladan Lashkari: Hi Ladan, Some time ago I’ve subscribed for a trial membership on your site. I did enter your site one time only. And I decided it wasn’t for me. But today I’ve been billed by Plimus for 137 USD. Refund me please this sum because I didn’t use your service and don’t intend to use it in future. Hope you understand me. Regards, Alexander | |||||||
As you can see the last vendor reply is a trick only. They refund me less than 25% to unblock the whole sum on Plimus.
So I didn’t use service in December, still I’ve payd $107 for it. Do you think it is fair?
